Princess Carolyn

Princess Carolyn is a workaholic whose only goal is to use her job to fill the endless void in her life. She's so unattuned to the emotional needs that she must over-indulge in her work to keep herself sane. That or finding flaws in the people around her to regain control by fixing their life. Especially since she's incapable of forming real, emotional bonds. 

Hence, she needs to feel validated by acting useful and having something to offer in a relationship to feel involved. Princess Carolyn has no social life, no stable relationship, and no close family member to cater to. 

She represents many individuals obsessed with the hustle culture who believe that their work will make up for the lack of meaningful relationships in their life - only to find the void become an abysmal pit that she can't escape. Even a chance at building a healthy relationship with a man doesn't help her break her workaholism. 

Todd Chavez

The directionless, happy-go-lucky Todd is a typical teenage boy who is lost in Neverland. He perfectly depicts the typical Peter Pan syndrome. He makes impulsive decisions and shows an array of interests like building an adventure land, composing music, and opening up several businesses. 

But he doesn't possess the conviction or the grit to keep at it. Hence, he settles to become a free-loader and leeches on to Bojack for social security. The latter unwillingly takes him in, merely to feel less lonely.

Diane Nguyen

Diane is a dark cloud in the series. But every intellectual is innately neurotic. Her perfectionism massively hampers her career growth. Thus, triggering her sense of underachievement. But her drive to achieve greatness comes from her traumatic childhood. She was raised in an uncaring and abusive household and had to step up for herself by finally abandoning her family. 

It instilled many attachment issues in her but also made her a strong, insightful, and charismatic woman. She has the highest emotional intelligence on the show.

Mr. Peanutbutter

Mr. Peanutbutter is the antithesis of BoJack. Unlike BoJack, he isn't neurotic. Instead, he demonstrates a child-like, delusional bubble that most narcissists tend to have at the peak of their careers. His unconditional and delusional love for himself makes him blind to his flaws and shortcomings. 

Ironically, he's quick to point these out in the people around them. He's an extremely self-indulgent character who, unlike BoJack, doesn't care enough to analyze himself or learn from his past critically. It is a stark depiction of someone who loves his career and lives in the moment!
