But his crass and spontaneous humor makes up for his monotonous personality. Most of his jokes are inappropriate and revolve around him making fun of his family's shortcomings. He is also unabashed about his low IQ and pokes fun at his foolishness causally. He's a harmless man with a peanut brain and an explosive sense of humor. 

Stewie

Stewie is a boss baby who is probably the most memorable character of the show. His intellectual disposition is emphasized through his low-pitched voice and British accent. It’s hilarious watching Stewie express his downright repulsiveness toward the family, which he acknowledges is well below his intellectual level. 

He constantly plans his escape and extensively plots the murder of his family, primarily Louis. But there are times when he remembers he’s just a child – especially when he faces obstacles in one of his exaggerated missions. Nonetheless, his complex time travel devices, gadgets, and manipulative behavior are entertaining. 

Meg

Unlike Family Guy, we didn't forget that Meg exists. As all high schoolers are often dismissed for being overtly smart, Meg is also snubbed by her family. Her insecurity seeps through several scenes when she tries hard to fit in or please the people in her family. 

She is constantly made the butt of all jokes or outright thrown off the scene. She is bullied, kidnapped, or called out for being too tom-boyish. But her character pulls through, and sometimes she's seen standing up for herself. 

Louis

Louis is your typical housewife. She plays the role of a responsible parent much better than Peter. And quite often, the two of them are seen fighting, sometimes even physically, over Peter's laziness and unwillingness to take an interest in his children's lives. She cares greatly about her family and even puts up with all of Peter's shortcomings.

Their banter is hilarious and even considered cathartic for women who want to give a piece of their mind to their man-child husbands. Nonetheless, the shrill-voiced character still enjoys raunchy getaways with her husband and manages to keep the family tethered together. 

Brian

Brian is no ordinary dog. He is highly educated and aspires to be a writer. His intellect is greater than all the family members combined. Thus, he conveniently plays the voice of reason on the show - albeit often being ignored by everyone. 

But in his head, he's the family dog who treats the family members as his inferiors. Thus, his nonchalant roasts of other family member are shockingly hilarious. His infatuation with Louis humanizes the dog by depicting complex emotional needs while going through a mid-life crisis.

Chris Griffin 

Exuding his middle children syndrome, Chris is an easily neglected character who is a gullible people-pleaser. His typical middle-child resentment seeps through his aggressive, raunchy, and unruly behavior - common for many angsty and horny teens. 

Overall, Chris has a tongue-in-the-cheek, crass humor with a moderate shock value. His pranks, obsession with rapping, singing terribly, and digging chicks while ridiculously failing at it are hilarious. 

In the end, the chubby, dim-witted, ultra-hormonal young man is just like other teenagers.
