Five

The main character in the show is Five. He’s an older person stuck in a body of a child. How does that happen? Well, Five has the ability to time travel. When he was a kid, he jumped far away into the future and got stuck there. That’s where he first saw the apocalypse.

Being unable to travel back home he had to adapt to new life. He worked as an agent for the Commission and helped them keep the timeline in order. After returning to the present, he had a hard time convincing everyone that the world is about to end. Five thinks others are inferior to him. That could be associated with his genius-level intellect.

Don’t let his sarcastic remarks and prideful behavior make you forget that he cares deeply about his family. He is often frustrated due to the fact he’s a 60-year-old stuck in a teenager’s body. Also, why is there never good coffee?

Vanya

A girl with no talents. That’s how Vanya is perceived by her family. Little do they know that she has been getting manipulated since her childhood by sir Reginald. Vanya is a passionate and caring person. She is insecure and has low self-esteem, but she deeply cares for her family.

Even though most of the time she feels like she doesn’t fit in. Music is her way of getting away from all of that. When she plays her violin, she’s a completely different person. Vanya is the most powerful character in the show. She destroyed the world on not one, but two separate occasions.

Diego

Diego is the rebel of the family. He hates following orders and prefers doing the things his way. He works for everything. He lives scarcely in the gym and fights off criminals. Whenever an injustice happens, he wants to deal with it right away. Planning things out isn’t really his thing.

Even though he hates to admit it, he loves his family. He started showing his romantic side after meeting Lila. Diego would prefer sacrificing himself if it meant protecting the ones he loves.

Luther

Luther is the head of the family. He’s big and strong but leadership is not a part of his portfolio. When he was a kid he fell in love with his sister, Allison, which faded away after getting rejected. Before the death of his father, he was stationed on the moon to protect Earth.

He is often dismayed if he has nothing to do. In season 2 he brightens up and joins Klaus as one of the funniest characters in the show. It would only make sense that such a big guy has an even bigger heart. After finally finding his purpose and the love of his life, Sloane, he gets killed and by the time he's resurrected everything is different.

Klaus

Do you know how every classroom has that one guy that always makes everyone laugh, whether he wants to or no? That’s Klaus. He’s as eccentric as they come. But can you blame him? Talking to the dead is his superpower after all.

He is often drinking or doing drugs to avoid ghosts. After meeting an alternate version of his father, he takes reigns of his powers and claims the greatest gift of them all, immortality.

Ben

We know little of Ben. He’s often seen as Klaus’s guardian angel. Ben does his best to keep his brother out of trouble. But that tends to be a bit hard when you are dead. Later throughout the show, we see glimpses of Ben’s loving nature. He doesn’t do things for himself, but rather for Klaus and his well-being.

Allison

Spreading rumors is something most of us did at least once. What harm can they cause right? Well, for Allison it’s different. Through rumors, she can control what people do, or even remember. After the Academy got disbanded, she got married and had a baby.

Being a mom turned out to be much harder than she originally thought. Controlling her baby to make her life easier eventually led to a divorce and the custody being given to her husband. She’s full of regret but also love. Her family is her priority no matter the situation.
