Mindy Chen

Mindy is a very down-to-earth resident of Paris who originally comes from a rich family in Shanghai. Mindy is exploring herself and trying to build a career in music in Europe. She works as a nanny for a wealthy couple while being a true friend to Emily. Mindy is empathetic, kind, and a passionate friend. She guides Emily to have a fulfilling experience in Paris.

Gabriel

Gabriel is Emily's hot next-door neighbor. He’s a talented chef that owns a restaurant called Les Deux Comperes. He’s warm, caring, and often amused by Emily’s behavior. This leads to a quick friendship that turns into a romantic fling.

As a chef, he’s proud of his food and doesn’t listen to customer requests. He’s also very proud and confident which can be seen by him turning down a business loan repeatedly.  

Julien

Julien is a Savoir employee whose bravado clashes with Emily's at first. Julien is first wary of Emily as a Savoir colleague, but he eventually becomes a friend and keeps her updated on the latest workplace gossip. Julien is also trying to make a name for himself as a creative genius.

Luc

Luc works at Savoir and is known for his naughty behavior. He and Julien liked making fun of Emily's American attitude toward France. Despite this, he showed pity for her and stopped mocking her instead of befriending her. Despite this rough start of a relationship, Luc becomes a good friend to Emily as the show progresses.

Camille

Camille is the daughter of prominent and successful champagne industry owners and is lovely and refined. She takes Emily under her wing to teach her that Paris isn't as intimidating as it appears, and she rapidly becomes one of Emily's closest confidantes. She was briefly Gabriel’s girlfriend.

However, her friendship with Emily doesn't last very long as she finds out about Emily's acquaintance with Gabriel through the skillet. Oops!
