Taissa

Taissa Turner is a determined, driven, and ruthless competitor. She broke Allie’s leg because she thought Allie was a liability to the Yellowjackets’ championship. Taissa’s dark side comes to the surface when she’s sleepwalking. She doesn’t believe in the supernatural, yet she joined Lottie’s prayer circles.

Today, Taissa is married and has a child. She aspires to become the state senator of New Jersey. Just like when she was a teenager, nothing can stand between her and her goal. Not even her family. She’s ready to push them away if it means having power.

Jackie

Jackie is the charismatic captain of the WHS Yellowjackets. She is smart as evidenced by her good grades, nice looking, and has a magnetic personality. Also, she is a kind person who cares deeply about her friends and squadmates. For instance, she refused to bench a freshman player even if by doing that she would make the team stronger.

Jackie tends to confuse leadership with commanding. She had a habit of making decisions for Shauna, such as choosing their college plan without considering if Shauna wants that. Moreover, she isn’t aware of what others are doing around her. She fails to notice Shauna’s unhappiness and becomes bitter when Shauna starts disagreeing with her decisions.

Misty Quigley

Before the crash, Misty was a geeky, people-pleasing equipment manager for the WHS Yellowjackets team. Despite being a part of the team, she was never accepted as a member. After the crash, her first aid skills proved invaluable and she was quickly embraced.

However, that allowed her dark side to come to the surface. She wanted to be appreciated and respected so much that she sabotaged the plane’s flight recorder leaving the crash survivors stranded indefinitely. Sometimes she would keep people sick or weakened just to sustain her recognition. Her sociopathic tendencies are hidden behind her cheerful personality.

Shauna Sadecki

Shauna is a very smart and crafty person. In school, she was a straight-A student. She has a problem with expressing and dealing with her emotions. Shauna keeps her emotions bottled up until they grow too big and she lashes out against the person. She slept with her best friend Jackie’s boyfriend as an act of revenge due to feeling manipulated by her.

The inability to deal with her emotions carries on into her adulthood. She had an affair to retaliate against her husband Jeff after assuming that he was cheating on her. He was not. Lastly, Shauna is a terrible liar. Her lies are instantly seen through because they are either transparent or she changes her tone of voice.
